Gitarristen Olof Wullt, tidigare bosatt i Göteborg och numera i Malmö, återvänder till staden för en kväll med en färsk trio bestående av Simon Petersson på kontrabas och nykomlingen Malte Wibell på trummor. Gästar för kvällen gör hans gamla medbrottsling John Nilsson på saxofon. Wullt har spelat med Fredrik Kronkvist Quintet och Bohuslän Big Band med Maria Schneider, medverkar på Axel Mårdsjös Ett Göteborgsporträtt och fick 2023 Kungliga Musikaliska Akademiens gitarrstipendium. Debutalbumet Beat-Heart (Varva Records & Music, 2024) beskrevs av Paris Move som "...a decisive bridge between tradition and modernity: the significant mark of any jazz approach since its origins, and the signature of an authentic explorer [...] there’s no question here – this album is a “must-have” (“Indispensable”), allowing us to view the music world a bit differently, to feel the vibrations produced by these artists, plunging us into a jazzy form that has just the right touch of intellect, and we love it!"
